Java Developer
6 month contract
Dublin city centre
Our high profile client based in Dublin city centre is seeking a Java Developer with 3+ years experience.
The Java developer’s role includes design, development, testing, and deployment of the application, operating in a fully integrated application and database environment with separate development, test, and live areas.
Responsibilities
- Programming of Java, J2EE/JEE, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS and SQL application components based on detailed design specifications
- Maintaining, tuning, and repairing applications
- Integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements
- Providing User Support
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Detailing designs for new application modules & interfaces and changes to existing modules and interfaces
- The production of Unit Test Plans
Experience:
- 3 + years Java programming in a J2EE/JEE environment
- Development and deployment of Java Server Pages (JSP)
- Use of HTML, XML, Javascript and CSS
- Working with Oracle Databases (Oracle 10g or higher) using JDBC
- Working with SQL
- Production of Unit Test Plans
