Workforce/Project Coordinator
6 month contract
Dublin city centre
The Workforce/Project Coordinator has a responsibility providing resources to support the short- and long-term needs of the organisation. The person we are looking for will have excellent hands-on people skills. He/she will be a ‘people person’, an excellent communicator with a real interest in, and experience of, supporting people through a major organisational change.
The person:
The person we are looking for will;
- Be an excellent people leader
- Have experience in recruitment of permanent and contract staff
- Have experience in resource planning and allocation
- Be a ‘people person’
- Have a great interest in coaching people through challenging situations
- Have high emotional intelligence
- Show great influencing skills
Specific Duties:
- Recruitment and Retention of Staff and Contractors. Work closely with approved external vendors to contract high quality external staff to augment internal staff as required.
- Coordinate onboarding of new contractors.
- Review candidate profiles/ role assessments/ Screening with hiring managers.
- Candidate onboarding/ finance setups
- Matching work assignments to staff skills or developmental opportunities. Balancing work demand and resource supply to ensure maximum utilisation of people
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the teams, leaders and the wider stakeholder group in order to get things done
- Advocate for the people point of view at senior leadership meetings
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Recent experience as a workforce/ project coordinator
- Experience of recruiting both permanent and contract staff
- Planning, organising, and controlling people resources, and providing solutions for resource conflicts.
- Experience in working collaboratively to build and maintain trusted working relationships with senior stakeholders and internal Leadership teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels from Executive to Team level.
