My client, a leading financial services firm based in Dublin is actively looking for a Senior Security Consultant with extensive Cyberark experience. This is a permanent position with Hybrid working options available.

The Role

 

This position is to Manage the optimisation, integration & customisation of security technologies (CyberArk and Fireeye Helix) within the Security Services department.  Focus on continuous improvement and to seek opportunities to exceed expectations. Specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Support Security Support Specialists (Current Cyberark Analysts)
  • Acts as the subject matter expert to assess and approve the implementation of security solutions
  • Ensure familiarity with risk management programmes.
  • Key participant in Critical Incident Response Team for major incidents
  • Security Infrastructure Capacity Planning & Management
  • Attend project meetings and maintain strong relationships
  • Champion and Sponsor projects in the Security Management area
  • Identify opportunities or emerging demands and plan for them
  • Manage the impact of change in relation to technology, products, processes and legislation and lead the team in implementing the change
  • Ensure that business risks are identified, and adequate controls are in place.
  • Seek opportunities to automate, improve service and productivity.
  • The main point of contact and the highest escalation point to the security device management service
  • Providing full lifecycle management of CyberArk and ensuring their continued operation in accordance with service levels and stated functionality.
  • Facilitate communication with DR and BCP for planning and execution
  • Although not initially, may have direct reports
  • Develop team members’ skills so that the team can maintain and develop strong service relationships with customers

 

 

Knowledge and Experience

The successful candidate ideally should:

  • Deals with complex issues and ambiguous situations – dealing with multiple systems and multiple features
  • Design, specify, build and implement components of the technical infrastructure using an advanced and in-depth knowledge of the technology and be a resource for other technologists, Architects and management.
  • Owns the resolution of incidents and problems. Acts as lead technologist. Runs meetings / workshops to drive out problems, etc. Ensures that solutions arrived at are comprehensive and of high quality. Provides direction and leadership
  • Have an ability to identify key influencers and build strong relationships with them
  • Explains and sells technical solutions and options to non-technical stakeholders, explains business requirements to technical staff
  • Provides leadership to and advises, coaches and mentors less senior staff
  • Excellent Business Knowledge and can understand and provide a clear definition of the business problem or opportunity and associated risks.
  • Proactive involvement in the development, improvement, implementation and adherence to our standards and policies
  • Have an ability to identify trends and to develop and implement improvements in business processes and systems
