My client is actively looking for a Senior RPA Developer for a permanent role based in their offices in Dublin City Centre, hybrid working options are available for this role.
As a Senior Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the Technology and Automation team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in creating and optimizing automated processes, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
Development
• Design Blue Prism process solutions in accordance with best practices and conventions as established on the team
• Develop IBM Business Automation workflow (BAW) processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
• Analyse, understand and document the business processes in detail as required.
• Identify and communicate the technical infrastructure requirements of a given project
• Support existing processes and implement changes as part of a structured change control process.
• Help problem solve issues that arise in day to day operation and provide timely responses and solutions as required.
Deliveries and Methodology
• Work efficiently and quickly to turnaround business requirements and management requests.
• Support the adoption and development of the Automation Technology Stack (Blue Prism and BAW) Framework to ensure that best-in-class methodologies, standards and practices are embedded in the organisation.
• Support and oversee the QA and rollout phases of project delivery
• Review test procedures and scenarios for the pre-QA phases
• Review and maintain solution documents.
Requirements:
Essential
• 4 years’ developing and implementing automated RPA processes (OR 5+ years of experience on object-oriented programming languages (preferably C#, .NET, VB))
• Experience with Workflow solutions such as IBM, Service Now, Slack.
• Proven experience in operational management, with a focus on process automation, workflow solutions, and server management.
• Aptitude to contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel
• Blue prism Basic Awareness and Surface Automation Trainings OR has completed any other training in one of the leading RPA platforms (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere) would be desirable
• Highly PC literate with solid skills in MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word.
• Ability and willingness to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes in the Blue Prism product.
• Capacity to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery and mentoring tasks.
• Good understanding of programming concepts and a strong coding skills in one or more modern language
• Understanding of process design documents and technical design documents in the RPA space
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce easily understood documentation. Able to explain technical detail to non-technical colleagues and interact at senior levels within the organisation.

• Bachelor of Information Technology (IT) OR related field.
• Excellent SQL skills – particularly with Microsoft SQL Server or Teradata.
• Knowledge and experience in Data Analytics.
• Ability to work to timelines and enjoy steep learning curves
• Experience and knowledge of Business/System Analysis in a structured environment
• Demonstrate an innovative, creative approach to problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Experience of analysis and design of business processes
