QA Test Analyst
Initially 6 months daily rate contract
Dublin city center (Hybrid role/Remote)

My Client is looking to recruit an experienced Service Orientated Test Analyst to fill a Contractor position in the QA Test Team. The position will involve working in a hybrid model, both remote and in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Produce structured test plans based on functional requirements
- Develop comprehensive test cases for System, UAT, Regression and Service Oriented testing (both automated and manual)
- Develop ReadyAPI automated repeatable test scripts for Services
- Execute and record the results of test cases
- Tracking of progress of test phase and reporting to Team Lead with regular updates.
- Raise & track defects, highlight potential risks
- Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times
- Develop process improvement initiatives
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years QA and software testing experience
- Experience in testing within the Financial Services industry (preferably in Life and Pensions)
- Experience of Service Oriented Testing and tools such Ready API/Soap UI Pro
- Experience in testing Batch and Online Transaction Processing systems
- Experience in interrogating SQL server databases and an ability to develop SQL queries is essential
- Experience with bug and issue management tools applicable to this role including JIRA
- Experience with test case management tools including Test Rail
