DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Engineer (Systems Engineer/Administrator) with FireEye experience to support and manage our endpoint detection and response (EDR) infrastructure, focusing on FireEye solutions. While direct FireEye experience is ideal, we’re open to candidates with strong experience managing other agent-based EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Carbon Black, etc.). This is an infrastructure ownership role, not a SOC analyst position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, manage, and maintain FireEye solutions, as well as other FireEye tools (NX, EX, ETP)
- Lead EDR agent rollouts, upgrades, policy management, and troubleshooting across the organization
- Monitor agent, coverage, and performance to ensure optimal protection
- Work closely with security and IT teams to support integration and infrastructure alignment
- Develop documentation and provide regular reporting on EDR status and improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience owning and operating an EDR platform at scale (not just alert triage)
- Strong understanding of endpoint security, malware behavior, and system hardening
- Background in FireEye is a strong plus; experience with comparable EDRs is acceptable
- Solid troubleshooting skills and comfort with enterprise endpoint environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., FireEye CM, CISSP, or similar) are a plus
