Initially 6 months daily rate contract

Dublin City Center ( 2 day per week onsite)

The candidate must have demonstrable and proven experience in data migration, cloud-based testing, and enterprise platforms such as Snowflake and Microsoft Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in validating complex data flows, ensuring data integrity, and supporting transformation initiatives within financial or enterprise environments.

The position will involve working a Hybrid Model, two days in the office and three days remote working.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed data validation and reconciliation across legacy and target systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy during migration.
• Develop and execute test cases for data, integration, regression, and service-oriented testing, both manual and automated.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data mapping and transformation rules, supporting successful migration to Snowflake and D365.
• Conduct ETL testing using tools such as Azure Data Factory and SSIS, validating data pipelines and transformation logic.
• Validate entity structures and data loads within Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Identify and report data anomalies, duplicates, and inconsistencies using analysis tools.
• Maintain clear documentation of test plans, results, and defects using tools like Azure DevOps and JIRA.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to realistic planning and delivery timelines in hybrid work environments.

Technical Competencies

• Minimum of 5 years QA and software testing experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data interrogation and validation across Snowflake and SQL Server.
• Experience with Snowflake features including virtual warehouses would be an advantage
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 data structures and Data Service (Dataverse).
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS) and cloud-based data testing.
• Knowledge of data migration lifecycle, including source analysis, mapping, transformation, and post-load verification would be an advantage
• Exposure to test automation scripting
• Competence in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Testrail).
• Understanding of data governance and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR).
