Contract Role, hybrid remote, 2 days a week onsite.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Audit Issues Management Manager to support the tracking, coordination, and remediation of issues across the technology organisation. This role will serve as a key liaison between IT, internal/external audit teams, compliance, and risk management, ensuring that issues are properly documented, monitored, and closed in a timely and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and log technology-related issues, audit findings from internal audits, external audits and regulatory reviews.
- Maintain accurate records in issue management system.
Remediation oversight:
- Work with IT stakeholders to define and document remediation plans.
- Monitor progress against timelines and escalate delays as needed.
- Validate that remediation efforts meet audit and control requirements.
Issue Closure and Evidence Management:
- Collect and review supporting evidence for issue resolution.
- Coordinate validation and approval of closures with audit or compliance teams.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and sign-off are completed.
Reporting and Communication:
- Develop (as required) and deliver issues status reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
- Facilitate regular review meetings with stakeholders.
- Support audit readiness and risk management reporting activities.
Governance and Continuous Improvement:
- Help enhance issue management processes and tools.
- Ensure alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and IT Control Frameworks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in audit issues management, IT risk, or IT governance roles.
Familiarity with IT general controls (ITGCs), risk frameworks, and audit principles.
Experience using GRC or audit tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow GRC).
Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
