6 Month contract – Dublin city centre/ Remote
Responsibilities:
- Programming of Java, J2EE/JEE, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS and SQL application components based on detailed design specification
- Maintaining, tuning, and repairing applications in order to keep them performing according to technical and functional specifications
- Performing preventative maintenance activities
- Integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements
- Providing User Support
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Detailing designs for new application modules & interfaces and changes to existing modules and interfaces
- The production of Unit Test Plans
- Building and Unit Testing of new modules and interfaces
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years post-grad experience
- Java programming in a J2EE/JEE environment
- Development and deployment of Java Server Pages (JSP)
- Use of HTML, XML, JavaScript and CSS
- Development of SQL queries
- Development and implementation of web services technology
- Bootstrap
- JSON
- Maven/Gradle
- Development and deployment of Java Server Faces (JSF)
- Struts 1&2
- Spring MVC Framework
