Contract position, hybrid remote 2 days per week onsite in Dublin City Center.
My client is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Security Engineer, the role is to primarily act as a project resource to join the security team. Therefore, deployment and engineering skills are best. The environment is mostly Windows servers, both on-prem and azure.
Requirements:
- Experience in Server backgrounds.
- Experience in deploying technology or SaaS-based solutions
- Experience acting as a project resource and/or in a team.
- Experience with windows server and/or azure.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain security solutions across systems, networks, and applications.
- Monitor security events and alerts, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Assist in creating and enforcing security policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance for improving security awareness across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in endpoint security experience (such as antivirus, SIEM, or EDR) then all the better.
- Microsoft Experience – windows server and/or azure.
- Insurance or Finance background is highly considered(not a must).
