Technical Project Manager

My client is looking for a Technical Project Manager for a 12 months initial contract role with a hybrid model(Dublin City centre).

Eligibility: Stamp4/Stamp 1G Dependent Visa/EU Citizen/British Citizen only, as i don’t have sponsorship roles.

My client have an immediate vacancy on a temporary contract basis for an experienced technical Project Manager to work within the PMO team to support the delivery of a key project related to Business & Technology strategy. We are looking for a talented individual who can quickly become productive and has the skills to plan, structure, lead and execute a SaaS migration project which must comply with the client Project Governance framework. This is a hybrid role that includes work from home and assigned office days.

Essential and Desirable Experience:

·      Minimum 7 years project management experience

·      Experience and proven ability to manage large and complex IT delivery/migration projects

·      Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaboration skills

·      Project Management experience on Cloud SaaS Migration projects highly desirable

·      Experience of Project Management and IT Delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)

·      Deep understanding of project management functions and artefacts

·      Experience managing third party vendor projects

·      Capacity to get up to speed quickly with existing Client project management and governance standards

·      Asset Management or other Financial Services industry experience desirable

·      Project Management certification desirable (Prince or PMP)

Standard PM Responsibilities include:

·      Lead the assessment, planning and implementation of projects

·      Deliver the projects on time, on budget and to the expected quality

·      Stakeholder management, including Third Parties such as Vendors

·      Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables with key stakeholders

·      Identify project pre-requisites, dependencies, constraints, issues, risks and critical path and manage these proactively

·      Define project tasks and resource requirements

·      Assemble, coordinate, manage and control project resources and tasks

·      Effective communications at all levels from Executive to Team level; strong verbal and written skills required

·      Develop and maintain project plans

·      Budget management, control and reporting

·      Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders and governance bodies

·      Provide direction and support to project team

·      Quality Assurance

·      Project Closure and Benefits Realisation review

·      Ensure all project documentation follows Client project management and governance standards
