Senior Project Manager
6-month contract
Remote/Dublin city centre
Role and Responsibilities:
- Act as the supplier of IT Services/Applications to a number of group companies
- Catalogue those Services and Applications, drivers of cost, consumption levels.
- Then overlay this with a more transparent Finance Cost Model to allow those companies to understand their usage and costs for Standard and Bespoke and for us our underlying cost drivers
- Support strategic planning in costs, consumption, future Applications/Services
- Support identification of cost drivers and inefficiencies that would benefit from cost-reducing solutions such as automation, outsourcing to a 3rd party
- Working with multiple IT Departments, Finance, to gather this information
- Understanding of Service Platforms (ServiceNow)
- Design and put in place the Project Structure, Communication, Reporting, Governance (aligned to Programme and PMO processes)
Experience:
- Experience in work similar to this is a requirement
- Excellent communicator to Sponsors, Steering Committees, Stakeholders, Project resources, etc (upwards, across, downwards)
- Experienced Project Manager operating in a senior role with a proven track record in: Planning, Managing, Organising, Issue resolution, Change Management driving Delivery to achieve Deadlines, Benefits and within budget
- Strong IT Service ad Application experience
- Strong Finance understanding
