You will primarily work within and across teams in IT and Security to own, drive, and improve the non-technical aspects of project lifecycles. You should be comfortable and experienced in implementing both agile and waterfall approaches. In our environment, there is a balance to strike between implementing processes that are lightweight, purposeful, course correcting, and scalable. The ideal candidate will be passionate about simplifying the complex, driving smooth coordination toward clear, shared goals, and having an overall optimistic outlook towards the future.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with an exceptional team of security team leaders and their team members to plan and coordinate the execution of mission-critical projects.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional projects and teams around strategic outcomes while ensuring alignment of stakeholders around priorities, timeline, status, and risks.
  • Synthesize multiple viewpoints and communicate perspectives necessary to drive long-term success.
  • Organize and facilitate project-focused meetings (planning, kick-offs, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Create timelines, playbooks, dashboards, roadmaps, metrics, and documentation to facilitate smooth and enjoyable cross-functional collaboration.
  • Continuously improve our workflows, communication patterns, methodologies, and anything else that elevates project potential and sparks self-organization.

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical program/project management experience (or similar role) managing complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in Security and or Cyber Security.
  • Excellent ability to probe complex dependencies, distill project plans, and drive successful cross-team outcomes.
  • Superb organizational skills and an analytical view on maximizing team productivity with a focus on value and outcomes rather than getting caught up in rigid processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and eager to ask questions, deeply understand business and product objectives and communicate clearly and directly to drive alignment among both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Resilient determination to push projects through to completion, regardless of how priorities or deadlines may shift in a dynamic environment and rapidly evolving industry.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about technology and security.

Attributes we look for in a successful project manager:

  • Self-starter with a deep sense of ownership.
  • Ability to frame the dynamics of projects, teams, and goals through a systems thinking/cybernetics lens.
  • Macro-to-micro versatility: strategic mindset coupled with keen attention to detail.
  • Well-rounded interpersonal skills, able to get along well with diverse personalities.
