PMO Analyst

Initially a 6 months daily rate contract

Responsibilities:

  • Work with project delivery teams to ensure effective project governance is applied throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure the PMO standards, procedures, tools and templates are rolled out and used consistently and effectively in all projects
  • Collate data and gather updates from project teams and stakeholders across the lines of business to prepare monthly and quarterly project and programme status reports
  • Assist with the management of the PMO Change Management Process
  • Track and report on Project profitability / budget status, Project/Programme analysis and reporting such as Exception management and decision making reporting
  • Maintain a centralised overall programme plan based on individual plans from all workstreams within the programme
  • Act as a guide and support for Project Managers in their correct use and application of Process and tools
  • Manage the upkeep of Risk, Assumptions, Decisions, Issues log
  • Track completion of key deliverables across the programme
  • Own and maintain the PMO repository
  • Responsibility for coordinating service access requests

This ideal person would have the following:

  • Experience working in a PMO
  • Experience working in the financial services industry
  • Experience communicating at all levels from executive to team level. Strong verbal and written skills
  • Experience producing reports to enterprise standard appropriate for a senior audience
  • Experience in planning, organising, and controlling resources and tasks
  • Experience of Project Management / Application Delivery methodologies
