My client is actively looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with experience working within a financial services environment for a long term daily rate contract based in Dublin City centre
The essential skills are:
• Oracle PLSQL – 11/10g/8i
• Oracle Developer
• Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Oracle WebLogic Application Server
• UNIX Scripting
• Knowledge of batch processing
• Tableau Analytics and Reporting
• Web technologies – Java and java script
• Unit and System Testing, and support for UAT.
• Other Tools, e.g. TOAD, SQL Navigator etc
The ideal candidate has:
• Be educated to degree level, or equivalent experience
• Have at least 8 to 10 years industry experience with at least 5 years as an Oracle/PLSQL/Java/Unix Developer
• Have worked in the Insurance sector, with specific experience with Pension products and systems (e.g. PMS)
• Has experience with Maven (Java build automation), and DOC1 (document composition and delivery)
• Has experience working with Agile development cycles and processes
• Be a dynamic individual who is a motivated self-starter
• Have excellent communication skills with a ‘can do’ attitude
