My client is actively looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a long term daily rate contract based in Dublin City centre
Hybrid working options are available for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Documents: Comprehensive documentation of business needs, objectives, and functional requirements
- Use Cases and User Stories: Clear use cases and user stories that outline system behaviour from an end-user perspective
- Process Maps and Workflow Diagrams: Visual representations of current and proposed business processes to facilitate understanding and improvement including ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ flows
- Data Analysis Reports: Reports detailing data findings, trends, and insights to support informed decision-making
- Workshop Facilitation: Facilitating Business and ICT units in workshops to work through requirements
- Requirement decomposition: Utilisation of tools / techniques such as MoSCoW, 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams to work with end users to decompose their requirements
- Business Impact Analysis: Analysis of how proposed changes will affect the organisation, stakeholders, and processes
- Project Documentation: Work with the Project Manager, as required to help complete various project-related documents, such as project charters, scope statements, and status reports
Experience/ Competencies/Skillsets
- Candidates should have experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps as a requirements management tool.
- Both Agile and Waterfall capabilities in process modelling and the use of collaboration with particular reference to usage of Microsoft Visio and a collaboration tool such as Miro or MS Whiteboard.
- History of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams through utilising in-depth knowledge of working within a highly regulated or governmental organisation.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of industry trends, organisational goals, and business processes.
- Requirements Gathering: Proficiency in gathering and documenting complex business requirements from stakeholders.
- Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Experience in analysing and optimizing business processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Management: Ability to assist in project management tasks, such as scope definition and resource allocation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address business challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Documentation: Skill in creating clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, use cases, and process flows.
- Change Management: Competency in change management principles to facilitate smooth transitions during project implementations.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Experience in mentoring junior business analysts and leading project teams.
