The Business Applications Support role will play a vital role in the support and rollout of new and existing initiatives. Find below more about this positions:
- Provide third level technical support on all applications within the group
- Liaise with Applications Team Technical Resources and 3rd party providers to ensure speedy resolution of all application support issues
- Keep users informed of call status if requested.
- Escalation of issues to the IT Applications Lead
- Report on status of Application Issues
- Maintain a keen understanding of Industry best practice and current applications technologies and related infrastructure to assist with setting of business expectations.
Application Change Requests
- Support the implementation of specific and defined changes / initiatives as agreed with Group IT Applications Team Lead (e.g. Upgrades)
- Support the functional acceptance tests and train end users on the changes / amendments
- Responsible for analysing and co-ordinating incidents, problems and change requests for the end-users. Continuous direct contact with the Group Companies and Suppliers to achieve this.
Not a must, but should be a plus:
